JOB SUMMARY: The Electrical Assembler II position is an entry level position that provides an individual the opportunity to learn, develop and apply the electrical assembly skills and knowledge required to assemble and disassemble packaging automation machines. This individual works under the direction of an Assembly Production Supervisor.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn and apply the electrical skills required to wire automated packaging machines.
  • Learn to read, understand and update electrical schematics per company standards.
  • Use power and hand tools, shop equipment, testing and measuring devices.
  • Learn and determine if electrical components match specifications.
  • Learn to update and maintain machine documentation.
  • Learn to identify and locate missing electrical components.
  • Learn the proper procedure for ordering parts.
  • Communicate with coworkers in a respectful manner.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work environment which includes tool box, test materials, carts, shop equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Comply with other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma /GED or equivalent.
  • One year of relevant electrical assembly work experience preferred.
